Were you there? Did you meet the CRT kids? Do you even know what I am talking about? Well, let me give you some background.

Last year, CRT started a techie networking event. It was a lunch. It did the trick: get a bunch of the technical geeks from the REalm (BTW REalm is my attempt to rename the Real Estate Weboshere .. help me out!!) that may have never physically met, and force them to talk outside of email or tweet replies. It was a success.

Next, during the past year, CRT has started the gears going on a Member Focused Technology Award.

So now, we created a venue directed at those we _need_ to meet, and are our focus on the awards. But we had this year where we didn’t have the awards program in place, but we needed to announce it. Hence the CRT Welcome Reception.

Once again, the goal was achieved – get the geeks of the REalm into one room, and get them to mingle. But being the mavericks we are, we one-upped ourselves. We included Segway rides and some awesome door prizes.

So now what? Well, I know the question which is on everyone’s tongue is, ‘How do I get involved with this, and win those awesome bags?’. Well, its simple. Stay tuned closely to CRT over the next few months. More info on the awards program will be announced. Nominate the member that is pushing the envelope in Real Estate using technology, or the support staff that is making each and everyone of their REALTORS shine.
