Whats in your reader?

rss-big.gif Lets preface this entry with an introduction and welcome to the newest member of the CRT family, Mr. Andrew Tillman. Andrew joins us with a strong Java development background working on mission critical hedge fund trading systems. With Andrew’s addition to the team, CRT is going to continue, while accelerating, their contributions to Real Estate Technology. Welcome Andrew! You’ve figured out all Variman’s code by now. right? ;)

Now with the formalities out of the way, how do you get a techno-geek real estate newbie up to speed in the mezzmerizing world of Real Estate? You of course load up his RSS reader with a bunch of useful feeds! So, while at it, may as well share some of the my daily morning rituals.

Thanks for the feeds! I personally do not visit them on a daily basis, but will surely add them to my stops for the morning.

Of course, I write about real estate technology over at TechForAgents.com.

    Chris,

That’s a great list! I wrote up my list of daily reads in this post a while back, but I think I’ll need to add the Craigslist Missed Connections because that is a great idea! :)

I’d have to add Bloodhound Blog and the up and coming Flex MLS to my short list of must read real estate blogs (after RCG and FoREM of course).

Although, real estate blogs probably only fill up 30% of my feed reader. I’d say about 60% of the blogs I read are Microsoft related (both technical & social) or technology related blogs. The 10% remaining are general news stories from major news media outlets, following the Seahawks and the rest of the NFL, Dilbert, new jobs, etc.

I like your list! Future of Real Estate Marketing is great. Have you peaked at Technology for Real Estate at http://www.mytechopinion.com. I like it because of the tech focus on Real Estate. I’ve already applied many of the tools to my business.
